Fourteen-year-old “Nathan” was adopted from Colombia in 2024. Nathan is an energetic, social young man who loves the spotlight and really enjoys spending time with his peers. He is resourceful and often up for a challenge in the outdoors. He loves the water—whether swimming or fishing. Nathan is medically healthy but requires ongoing oversight of a plastic surgeon for burn scars that he received as a child in Colombia.  

Nathan’s family is seeking dissolution due to lack of attachment and challenging behaviors. Nathan has a hard history. His Colombia culture is very important to him, and he states he would prefer if someone in his family speaks Spanish.
