My name is Steven and I was born deaf and was abandoned by my parents. Instead, my Grandmother raised me along with many others. One day, I encountered a gang of cruel men who tried to murder me, but failed, leaving me only with a scar on my neck to remind me of that scary night. Now, as a student at Busega Community School for the Deaf, I do not have to look for food on the streets and have learned to communicate with others through sign language. I am so happy and thankful for the knowledge and friends I have gained here. I am attending church where I love to worship God through dance. Some even tell me I am the best dancer at church! Please pray for me as I continue to learn and grow.
