James 4:13-17 says, “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit’- yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.’ As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”
Lifeline exists to equip the body of Christ to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children. We run after this purpose because God’s mercy commands us; it is the right thing to do.
We show His gospel-driven mercy at home and around the world because we have been called to be wholly pro-life. As Christ followers, our commitment to life continues after birth: that means we find families for children in need; we serve mothers in unexpected situations; we train families who have lost their children to the foster care system; we give hope to children who will never be adopted; and we walk with families through the challenges and joys that come with being a forever family.
Together, we must act on behalf of those who are vulnerable. Together, we can do the right thing. The time is now, and the need is urgent. So, how will you dig deep and sacrifice on behalf of the vulnerable? Will you partner financially with Lifeline to spread the hope of the gospel to millions of vulnerable families and children around the world?
We know that the Lord has called us to go forward in these endeavors and has provided a body of believers to “plant and water” alongside us. During this season of celebration, we ask that you generously partner with us to Change One Life together.
