Meet Emmanuel. Emmanuel lives in the Dominican Republic at Niños de la Luz, (un)adopted’s partner boys’ home. Emmanuel is 17 years old and has lived at Niños de la Luz for six years. While living in the family environment of Ninos de la Luz with 13 “brothers”, Emmanuel has grown in the gifts and skills God has given him. He is extremely athletic and enjoys baseball, basketball, and skateboarding. Emmanuel also loves to draw and is a skilled artist. He has emerged as a leader with an adventurous spirit and even volunteers several times a week helping younger children at a local school. As Emmanuel grows into a young man, he dreams of using the gifts and skills God has given him to be an art teacher.
