“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” (Psalm 107)

Our stories are avenues  given to us for praising the Lord and making His name known.

Each year, Lifeline partners with Arc Stories for a storytelling event.  This is an evening of true, personal stories told by the people who lived them in front of a live audience. This year, Lifeline’s Arc Stories event will take place Friday, January 31, 2020 at Avon Theater in Birmingham, AL .

Your stories are what make this night impactful, and we’d love for you to share that. Use the form below to give us more details on your story- how have you or your family has been impacted by adoption, foster care, orphan care, the gospel, birthparent ministry, a trip with (un)adopted, etc? Do you have a “we could have missed this” story about something you might have missed without a person/circumstance in your life? These stories can be moving, funny, shocking, compelling, ordinary, etc. You name it, we want to hear it.

Submit your story using the form below. After you submit your story, the Arc Stories Team will look through the submissions. If your story is chosen, we won’t just throw you up there without a little help. The Arc Stories Story Coaches work with you to help craft your story into the best it can be.

Everyone is rooting for you. We know you’ve got the perfect story. So pitch your story, and let’s make it happen.

Here are some helpful tips for submitting your story:

  • We want to know the story. What happened? The beginning, middle, and end.
  • Keep it brief, no need to go into all the details here – we’ll get to that later.
  • Don’t leave us with a cliffhanger – tell us how it ends.
  • After you’ve told us what happened, be sure to tell us how this story changed you (if it did).

If you have any questions, please email savanah.church@lifelinechild.org

Story Submissions

  • Give us a quick title so we can reference it when we talk about how great it is.
  • Check out the tips above, and then type your summary here. Keep it brief. Aim for 5 - 7 sentences.
