Whitney White

Whitney joyfully joined Lifeline in 2011 as the International Education Counselor. In this role, she has developed training and curriculum for the ministry, counseled adoptive families, and trained caregivers around the world in international children’s home settings.  She and her husband, Adam, have two children and they enjoy traveling and partnering in ministry together as a family. They now live and serve in Athens, Georgia. Whitney studied psychology and leadership in college and then went on to obtain a Master’s of Education in Community Counseling. Whitney has been a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner since 2011 and uses Theraplay® principles in her work with children and families. She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has also been educated in principles of Corrective Attachment Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment-Focused Therapy, and Making Sense of Your Worth. She is interested in everything international and is driven by God’s deep love for people from around the world. Whitney is honored to play a small role in what God is doing to equip His people to care for His children.
