Manager of Engagement - Virginia
Megan Sims serves as Lifeline’s Manager of Engagement. She currently lives in Washington, D.C., but grew up in a military family stationed at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Megan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Alabama. She and her husband, Cliff, have been married since 2010 and are proud parents of a shih tzu named Minnie Muffin Sims. Megan‘s simple joys are coffee, dessert, and all things Harry Potter. She loves to travel and has served on short-term mission in North America, South America, Africa, and the Middle East. As the Manager of Engagement, Megan is tasked with equipping and empowering the Church to care for orphaned and vulnerable children in their local communities and around the world. Specifically, she is working in the D.C. Metro area to help the local church establish adoption and foster care ministries. Megan brings over six years of experience in the digital communications field to our team and counts it a privilege to work at Lifeline on behalf of orphaned and vulnerable children all over the world.
