Lifeline Partners with Manna for the Masses

Lifeline Children’s Services® is excited to announce a partnership with Manna for the Masses, an organization founded to help stretch donation dollars to their maximum potential.

Manna for the Masses utilizes their unique access to overstock goods such as t-shirts, socks, athletic wear and other garments at a whole sale price to meet the needs of individuals in need across the world. They are generously partnering with Lifeline to provide these needed items to orphaned and vulnerable children in our ministry. When you make a payment through Manna for the Masses- you help provide these needed items to individuals in two communities Lifeline works with in Guatemala (Village of Hope) and Uganda (Busega Community School for the Deaf and Blind).

“Through this partnership, we are able to supply vital resources to our orphan care partners around the world and to compound the investments made by our donors,” said Rick Morton, Lifeline’s Vice President of Engagement. This exciting opportunity positions us to provide for many more orphaned and vulnerable children in Jesus’ name.”

Initially, Lifeline will focus efforts on two long-standing partners, Busega Community School for the Deaf and Blind in Busega, Uganda, and Village of Hope in San Lucas, Guatemala.

Busega Community School for the Deaf and Blind is a ministry of King Jesus Church in the Busega area of Kampala, Uganda. Through the school, King Jesus Church is ministering to children who have previously been seen as outcasts and is proclaiming the gospel to the wider community. The donations provided through Manna for the Masses will provide stability for at-risk families and a platform for more gospel witness in the community.

Under the direction of Todd and Amy Block, Village of Hope exists to provide family, faith and a future to special needs children and vulnerable mothers in a family style setting. Children and adults live in family units as God intended-to provide life-long support as well as teach the children to have life values. Second, the vision extends to develop relationships in the Guatemalan Evangelical churches, to come along side of them, educating them on God’s heart for the orphan. Donations through this partnership provide school uniforms, clothing, hygiene items, and diapers for the Village of Hope community as they carry the gospel forth into San Lucas.
