Lifeline Kansas Expands with CPO Ministry

Caring Pregnancy Options is now Lifeline Children's Services.

The Lifeline Kansas team is excited to announce some big news about how God is working! In the Fall of 2017 Lifeline was approached and asked by the Caring Pregnancy Options board if we would pray about taking on their ministry in Topeka, Kansas. We were happy to tell the CPO board we would be thrilled to take on the ministry they had carried for over twenty years in the community and continue to serve families under Lifeline.

Lifeline began as a birth parent ministry in 1981 and we still are a birth parent ministry today.  We know many families are familiar with Caring Pregnancy Options as a place they can receive help and support and we are excited about our move to central Topeka!

We are excited about this ministry expansion, and are looking forward to sharing more information about this transition as it unfolds in the coming months! There are a few commonly asked questions we hear that we’d love to give more information on:

1. Are families still able to receive services?
Families will still be served by Lifeline! We are open in the afternoons to families and walk-ins who may need support, parenting skills, resources, pregnancy tests, and more.

2. If Lifeline is an adoption agency, will Lifeline only be able to serve families who choose to make an adoption plan?
Absolutely not. At Lifeline, we are set up to serve and walk with families no matter what situation they find themselves in. We serve families who are seeking to overcome a crisis, families wishing to gain better parenting skills, families who need to know what resources are available to them, families wishing to make an adoption plan, and more. Our areas of focus are Family Restoration, Pregnancy Care, Education, and Adoption.

3. What are some of the biggest needs Lifeline is seeing with this new move?
We need coaches and hosts to be part of our ministry and be willing to do discipleship with women and families we serve! We would love for you to partner with us so we can serve the greater Topeka area more fully and show the hope of the Gospel to more families. We also are seeking prayer partners to lift up our ministry every single day.

4. Does Lifeline now take donations?
YES! We have a need for new or gently used baby items and clothing, new packs of diapers and wipes, formula, women’s maternity clothing, and women’s work wear. These are items are a great help to our families we are serving locally.

We are grateful and excited for the ways the Lord is moving in Lifeline’s ministry in Kansas. To learn more or talk to someone about Lifeline Kansas, reach out to Jessa at [email protected] .
