Keep a Brother and Sister Together

Will you please help us advocate?

Lifeline is currently advocating for a sweet sibling set from Latin America. Many times, we have seen where the government has been faced with difficult decision to separate the siblings in hopes of them having a better chance of being adopted. This brother and sister will be separated in one month if we are not able to inform the central authority that there is an interested family. At Lifeline, it is our heart to advocate for siblings to stay together when it is in their best interest. We have been given permission by their country’s government to advocate for these siblings before they are separated. If you would like to learn more or help advocate, please contact Lauren Preston immediately at or 205.967.0811.

Camile is a sweet 15 year old girl. She is happy and has such a beautiful smile. She is extremely attentive and follows caregivers instructions. Camile cares for her little brother, Jake, and desires to be part of a family. Her special need is that she is deaf but is very intuitive and perceptive. Strong resources and experience with ASL will be extremely important for Camile. Jake is a fun 4 year old little boy. He is a playful and active child who loves to explore. Jake is outgoing and has a big personality. He loves his older sister Camile and they share a very close bond. Jake desires to be part of a forever family.

Our Latin America team at Lifeline has had the opportunity to meet these siblings in person and spend time with them. They would love to speak with any family interesting in learning more about these siblings. Our team has files, pictures and videos on Camile and Jake. For more information, please contact us!

In our Latin America programs, we have had the opportunity to see families adopt older children and siblings groups. We would love to connect any family interested in learning more about older child/multiple child adoption to families who have walked through this journey. Please contact Lauren Preston at or 205.967.0811 if you would like to learn more.

How You Can Help

Adopt: Is the Lord calling you to consider adopting one of these sibling groups? Please don’t hesitate to ask questions and pray about whether this may be an option for your family.

Advocate: Share our social media posts about these children, reach out to families you know who may be called to adopt then, spread the word about their need for forever families!

Pray: For a family to be called to be a forever home for each of these siblings groups, for their hearts, and for the Lord’s plan for each of their lives.

Give: Adoption can be expensive, and has the potential to be a deterrent to families considering the call. Your financial gift could make a difference in children’s lives being changed forever through family.  You can give at
