Kristen Robinson | Foster Care Case Manager, South Carolina – Kristen joined the Lifeline team in April of 2018 and serves in our South Carolina office as a Foster Care Case Manager. She is from Charleston, SC and attended school at Clemson University where she studied psychology. She’s currently pursuing a MSW degree at Boise State University. She and her husband, Chip, have three beautiful daughters. In her free time she enjoys going out on the boat and watching movies. If Kristen could eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Mexican. She’ll choose a coastal beach area for vacation any day. Something many people might not know about Kristen is that her and her husband planted a church in 2016 (King’s Cross Church is their fourth child). Her three simple joys are sunshine, her dog, and cool pillows. Kristen’s favorite thing about working at Lifeline is the daily bible study. She thinks that it’s easy to work in ministry and yet not get daily bible study, so the fact that Lifeline does that first thing everyday just highlights to her the company takes seriously the discipleship of their employees.
Cathy Leeke | South Carolina State Director –Cathy grew up in a military family so she has moved around a good bit, most recently from Atlanta to Charleston. She received a Bachelor’s in Music and Economics from Vanderbilt, and a MBA from Georgia State. Cathy has been married to her high school sweetheart for 15 years. They have 3 children, and usually a few more through foster care. She is a triathlete, and just recently just finished her first half Ironman. She runs a local support group for parents raising gluten free children, especially those with celiac disease. She loves pizza and traveling to Disney, the Ritz Reynolds Plantation, and the Restoration in Downtown Charleston. As the SC State Director, Cathy has the opportunity to meet with churches and pastors, families, and community partners and see how we can serve alongside them in the ministry of orphan care. Her very favorite part about working at Lifeline is when a family hears the calls and nudges of the Holy Spirit and in obedience says “YES!”. For her, seeing a family walk in obedience to the Lord is amazing!
