Screening & Support
Offering targeted interventions to support children’s unique learning journeys.
Support Through Screening
Comprehensive developmental screenings and targeted support for children with unique learning needs, helping them unlock their full potential and thrive academically and personally.
What is Bridge Screening?
A Bridge Screening uncovers the “why” behind learning or developmental challenges by assessing a child’s cognitive skills, motor-sensory skills and social-emotional development. This gives a clear picture of how a child’s strengths and weaknesses impact daily life and school performance.
What to Expect?
The Bridge Screening is not diagnostic, but it can help support qualification for IEP (Individualized Educational Program) or 504 plans and guide future educational support. Each session lasts about 1.5–2 hours, with short breaks and fun, movement-based activities woven in to keep children comfortable and engaged.
Support Through Developmental Therapy
Bridge Educational Therapy helps children grow in confidence, focus, and readiness to learn—for school and for life.
Tailored strategies
Our Educational Therapists use engaging, research-backed tools and activities to build cognitive, motorsensory, visual, and emotional agility skills—laying the groundwork for lasting academic success.
Holistic development
Each session is intentionally designed to meet the child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive needs through braintraining games, movement exercises, and skill-building activities—all while keeping learning fun and meaningful. For best results, students typically meet with an Educational Therapist for one-hour sessions, three to four times per week. Consistency is key—regular, focused sessions create the momentum needed for deep and lasting growth.
Support for IEPs and 504 Plans
Bridge Educational Services provides academic planning support for students who need Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans, ensuring that each child receives the right accommodations to succeed both in and out of the classroom. We partner closely with families, educators, and schools to interpret assessment results, clarify learning needs, and help design plans that are practical, empowering, and studentcentered. Our goal is simple: to bridge the gap between potential and performance so every child can thrive academically and confidently.
IEP
An IEP is a customized educational plan designed for students who qualify for special education services. It outlines specific learning goals and the
supports—such as therapy, instructional strategies, or classroom modifications—needed to help the child meet those goals.
504 Plans
A 504 Plan, while similar in spirit, is designed for students who may not need specialized instruction but still require accommodations to access
learning equally—such as extended test time, modified assignments, or assistive technology.
