Position Summary:

Provides administrative support to staff and general clients. Provides assistance to expectant mothers through options counseling.


Essential Duties: 

  • Receptionist for the front area (answers phone calls and redirects incoming calls to appropriate people)
  • Client intake
  • Assists with client files
  • Updates information in database
  • Edits server
  • Responds to email questions, web contacts, and other general questions
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies/orders supplies as needed
  • Runs Clearances and Reference checks
  • Typing assistance as needed for home studies and post reports
  • Assists with networking initiatives, training, etc.
  • Tracks and follows up with information inquiries
  • Assists with care closet management and inventory
  • Assists as a coach with Harbor Families ministry
  • Assist in volunteer recruitment and coordination
  • Assist with monthly newsletter
  • Assists with projects as assigned


Secondary Duties: 

  • Assists with and attends agency sponsored events and information meetings
  • Represents the agency in a professional manner in and away from the office
  • Maintains good working relationships with co-workers, including resolving all disputes in a Biblically prescribed fashion
  • Other duties as assigned by Kansas State Director


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
